Lindsey began her career in the beauty industry in 2011. In 2014, she began teaching cosmetology and found her passion. After a period of teaching at another institution, Lindsey decided it was time to bring more to the Shoals area. In 2017, Meraki Academy of Cosmetology opened in Sheffield, Alabama. In 2024, Lindsey created a learning space of close to 10,000 sq. feet in Florence, Alabama— Modern Academy of Cosmetology was born. Within MAC, she has created a community of learners who truly love the beauty industry and has cultivated an environment that is fun, upbeat, and positive. She is passionate about watching students thrive in the industry we all love.
